We are pleased to invite you to the interdisciplinary NeurotechEU UBO Summer School: “Trust me! Neural Networks, Manipulation, and Ethics”, taking place 8–11 September 2025 at the University of Bonn.
This program explores the ethical, neuroscientific, and philosophical aspects of AI’s influence on human autonomy and decision-making.
Key Topics:
- Manipulation vs. persuasion and coercion
- Neural mechanisms of manipulation in humans and AI
- Ethical challenges in AI-human interaction
- Regulation and responsible AI implementation
Participants will engage in keynotes, workshops, and an ideathon with leading German AI and neuroscience companies. Cultural events will highlight Bonn’s rich history. The Summer School is organized as a blended format (one virtual session before September plus 5 days of physical mobility).
