ECTS credits recognition
Student workload at Dutch universities is measured in ECTS credits. ECTS stands for the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System, a framework widely used across the European Union. In the Netherlands, one ECTS credit corresponds to approximately 28 hours of study. For every one week course that you attend, you will receive 2 ECTS. Your ECTS credits are included in your digital certificate of participation.
Please note that the recognition of credits is at the discretion of your home institution. This means you are responsible for arranging the recognition of these ECTS credits with your home university.
