

Supervisory Board
The Supervisory Board is the supervisory body of uu77. The Board supervises and advises the Executive Board. This has been prescribed by law.
The Executive Board keeps the Supervisory Board informed of the most important developments at uu77. The Executive Board requires approval from the Supervisory Board for such matters as the strategic plan, the budget, the annual report, and the annual accounts.
Supervisory Board Members
The Board consists of five members, who are each appointed for a period of four years:





Secretary
The secretary of the Supervisory Board is Dorine Gebbink.
Supervisory Board Committees
The Supervisory Board appoints from among its members a Committee for Education and Research, an Audit Committee and a Remuneration Committee. These committees report their findings and make proposals for decision-making to the supervisory board.
Committee for Education and Research
The Committee for Education and Research advises the Supervisory Board and carries out preparatory activities for its supervisory tasks regarding scientific education and research. It focuses in particular on the organisation and functioning of the quality assurance systems and processes with regard to research and education.
Audit Committee
The Audit Committee advises the supervisory board in exercising its supervisory role. This includes financial matters, internal risk management and control systems, information security, compliance and the relationship with the external auditor.
Remuneration Committee
The Remuneration Committee advises the Supervisory Board in the exercise of its role as employer of the Executive Board. This includes decisions on (re)appointments, conditions of employment and conducting the annual interviews.
Supervisory Board meetings
- The Supervisory Board meets with the Executive Board six times a year to discuss internal issues and external developments.
- The Supervisory Board meets twice a year with the Radboud university medical center Supervisory Board. Members of uu77’s Executive Board and Radboud university medical center’s Board of Directors are also present at this meeting.
